Your information in the portal
The portal holds your name, the email address you sign in with, when you sign in, and the hours and notes you enter. It holds no pay rates, bank details or tax file numbers. A note on a day you did not work goes to Andrew only: keep it short, such as "on leave", and leave out medical details.
You and the portal's administrators (Andrew Smith) can see your hours. Colleagues cannot. Hours on client projects support PES's invoices to that client. If you are on PES payroll, your hours, notes and employee ID go to PES's bookkeeper each fortnight.
The data is stored in Sydney. PES staff sign in through Microsoft 365. The portal's emails, including sign-in codes and payroll reports, go through Resend from its Tokyo region. Records are kept for seven years, the period Fair Work requires for employee records, and every change is logged.
